Wispa

The Wispa is a chocolate bar made by Cadburys in the UK.

The Wispa was first released in 1981 as a trial version and with it's success it was released properly in 1983 around the United Kingdom. The Wispa was seen an icon of the 80s and has been marketed as an 80s retro item due to the current popularity of 80s nostalgia. Unfortunately for some reason Cadburys decided to discontinue the Wispa in 2003.

Ever since the Wispa was discontinued there has been a number of internet campaigns on sites like MySpace, Bebo and Facebook to bring back the Wispa and in 2007 Cadburys caved in and released over 20 million bars as a limited edition to see how sales went but have now stopped producing them again.
